VA partial claims: every servicer must offer them by Nov. 28, 2026
Short answer
The VA Partial Claim Program launched on June 15, 2026, under the VA Home Loan Program Reform Act. It lets servicers bring a delinquent VA loan current after three trial payments, with VA paying the arrears as a no-payment second lien. Servicers can offer it now and must comply by November 28, 2026. Pennymac was the first large servicer to roll it out, in August.
